Australian Adventure

After Christmas with Anna’s family we flew to Sydney, Australia. We were caring for a cat named, El Tigre.

My plan was to live in Australia for a year with my Working Holiday Visa. I had everything set up, Australian bank account, phone plan, and purchased a van to travel around Australia and live in once the house sit ended.

Within a few days Anna got a job full time with the organization we met working at called Rustic Pathways.

After a week she had to leave Australia to start her new job in the northwest of the U.S.

I was fully planning on living in Australia and then my plans ended up changing when I got a call from the CEO of Rustic Pathways a few days after Anna had left.

They needed a person to be in charge of outreach in the midwest. I accepted the position, they bought me a flight back to the U.S. for training and I left Australia the next day.

It turned out to be the best decision I made.
