'Ohana

After a transformative experience, in which I lived fully in the moment in Fiji, I flew to Hawaii to visit my family.

Reflecting on the time I had in Fiji and the love I found in the people, the culture, and the ocean wasn’t the only reflection I had in Hawaii.

I found beautiful love in a girl named Anna Quinn while I was in Fiji. She brought the blissful child out of me again. She made me smile and laugh like I had never done before.

But she was in Maryland, so what was I to do.

I followed my heart and flew to Maryland to meet her whole family for Christmas.

Her family is amazing and I am still so grateful I was able to spend that Christmas with them as Anna’s “buddy”.
